Income Tax Return Filing Due Date Extended

Due date to file Income Tax Return is extended to 31/08/2019.

The due date to file income tax return for assessee other than companies and non audit case was 31 July 2019, however the due date is extended to 31 August 2019.

CBDT has decided to extend the due date looking at practical difficulties faced by tax payers.

Now new due date in place of July 31, 2019 is August 31, 2019.

The new due date for financial year FY 2018-19(Assessment Year AY 2019-20) is 31/08/2019.
