What is meant by this message,"Your limit for the current tax period has exceeded "? This becomes a common problem for most tax payers nowadays.

This limit is for GST tax payment challan creation. You must have created challans on GST portal but not made payments.

After certain limits you cannot create challans.

Now to pay tax, do not login to your account but pay tax without login.

To pay tax without login,

  1. Go to GST website
  2. Click on Services menu
  3. Click on Payment
  4. Under payment click on Create Challan

Here you can create a challan with your GST number and make payment.
