I have business place in gram panchayat area in West Bengal.

I have my trade licence issued by gram panchayat.

Now for GST registration is that mandatory to pay profession tax or without p tax can I get GST number?

Profession tax and GST are totally different acts. Each other will not conflict. You have to separately comply with each act.
