Sir,
I tried to link my PAN with Aadhaar. But the name is getting mismatched between the two. Now, I have opted to change my name in Aadhar to match with PAN. But, I feel, the process may take more than 2 weeks from now. What will be the consequence, if I could not link them before 31.03.19. Will my PAN get invalid after that date.
Pls. advice.
It is compulsory to link Aadhaar and PAN before Mar 31, 2019 otherwise your PAN will become invalid.
I don't think it will take that long for change in Aadhaar details. Give it a shot for future, they may revise dates once again.
You can link it later also. There is no clarity on what invalid PAN means.
