Suppose I purchased an item at Rs 100+28 GST from a manufacturer and sold it at Rs 1+0.28 GST but charged delivery at Rs 100+5 GST (gst on transportation is 5%). My total invoice at Rs 106.28, even less than manufacturer, still profit of Rs 21.72!

Sell 28% items as services!

Hi Sir,

Government is smarter than all of us. Only smartest occupy those position.

GST rate at delivery charge will be same as tax rate on your product.

If you are charging product at 28%, then you have to charge 28% on delivery also.

Read GST tax rate in case of composite or mixed supplies
