While generating E way bill, In case we have opted for Vehicle number and the vehicle is provided by an agent who does not own the truck,also he is unregistered then how he can update the e-way bill during transit if needed.

Transporter can edit if you have entered his transporter id in eway bill.
For unregistered transporters, supplier has to edit Part-B for updating vehicle details. Supplier or person who has created eway bill can edit it whenever there is change in vehicle during transit.
