So today again GST portal has surprised me.
I tried to file my GSTR-1 with EVC. Got OTP and when entered OTP to file my return, got a message
Error! Authorized Signatory details not found or user not regitered.
It is amazing to not how many errors portal has.
I was able to file my all others returns on time. But this is too much. For a proprietor who was filing return every month without any error, suddenly error showing no authorised signatory found is terrific.

SIr, Even I got the same error. I spoke to GST Helpline on 0120-4888999, where they told that it is a technical issue and many are facing this error. They are working on it and it may be rectified anytime. When i asked if we would be penalised for the late filing , they answered that they are yet to get any notification on this and hence cannot help on that aspect.
Answer by Basheer is correct. It is technical error.
I have one more opinion that it could be because of Aadhar service is not working now.
In the particular linked question you can check that while issuing DSC, Aadhar based OTP is not working.
I doubt this could be reason we are not able to file return with EVC generated.
I think it should work with DSC. Anyone tried filing with DSC?
