Please suggest me what is GST rate on guest house, which is rented of Rs-6,000/- per night. Kindly describe briefly (either SGST & CGST rate )
You need to charge tax at 18%. SGST 9% and CGST 9%.
GST on renting of rooms is as:
Less than 1000 - 0%
1000-2500 - 12%
2500-7500 - 18%
Above - 28%
Do half of rate for SGST and CGST.
