I heard that in Chandigarh GST officers are visiting premises and asking penalty for not displaying GST certificate and GST number at business place.
Is it compulsory to display GST number at factory, shop or work place?
AS PER RULE 18, Display of certificate of registration and GSTIN at the entry point of principal place of business and at every additional place of business is mandatory , failing which penalty of Rs 25000 may be levied U/s 125 of CGST Act 2017.
