If a company is engaged in business of letting and sub-letting of houses, flats, apartments etc. whether GST should be charged on this transaction?

Whether building owner should charge GST on rent received from company?

Whether company should charge GST on rent received from individuals staying in house for non-commercial purpose?

Any property given on lease or rent for commercial purpose, GST is to be charged at 18%.

Renting of residential dwelling for use as residence is exempted from GST.
